Successes at the Derek Crookes Intercounties Match!

Congratulations to Tom M for throwing a personal best of 26.71m to finish 5th in the U13B discus and to Scarlett H for finishing 3rd in the U13G discus at the Derek Crookes Intercounties match. Tom’s result places him 11th overall in the country for U13B discus.

Fantastic Finish To 2023 Wessex League

Waverley Athletics Club Finished the season in 3rd Place overall. U15 girls finishing in 1st place after all 4 matches. U13 Boys, U17 Men & U17 Women finishing in 2nd place after all 4 matches. Quad Kids finished in 9th place. Congratulations to all athletes who took part and thank you to all the family/carers/friends for their loyal support and for transporting them to the events Results table

English Schools Athletics Association National Championships

Tilly F (Discus), Ollie J (Steeplechase) and Owen F (Long Jump) represented Surrey schools at the recent ESAA national championships in Birmingham, an amazing experience for athletes and parents despite mixed results on the day. Perhaps Waverley AC can get even more athletes there next year ……
